\n<\/span>According to a new report from Check Point Software<\/a> LinkedIn is the number one brand being imitated by cybercriminals in their attempts to steal individuals\u2019 personal information or payment credentials.<\/span><\/p>\n

You might see these phishing attempts in email with subjects like: \u201cYou appeared in 8 searches this week\u201d or \u201cYou have one new message\u201d.\u00a0 Although appearing to come from LinkedIn, the reply address will be completely different to that of the brand.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you see an email like this and you\u2019re not sure.\u00a0 Don\u2019t click any links go to the LinkedIn website by manually typing the address into your browser.<\/span><\/p>\n
