Telstra recently announced<\/a> that it\u2019s switching on Free Wifi at payphone locations across Australia, initially flicking the switch at around 3000 payphones last month.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the coming year Telstra has also set a goal to upgrade the entire payphone network…so an additional 12 thousand payphones to provide free Wifi.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s also worth noting that, even though they are still referred to as Pay<\/em> Phones, last year Telstra removed the cost of calls to standard fixed line numbers and calls to standard Australian mobiles from all Payphones across Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
