The MG3 is among the cheapest cars in Australia, but as I test drove one over the past week I discovered it\u2019s packed with valuable technology.<\/p>\n
I should start by saying that this isn’t your standard car review.\u00a0 I’m not specifically a motoring enthusiast and I’m not one to do too much tinkering with things best left to a mechanic, however with a passion for technology I’m always interested to follow the story of how it’s being implemented into the latest vehicles to make driving more enjoyable and safer.\u00a0 \u00a0Now that being said, I can’t hold back that I found the seats to be very comfortable.<\/p>\n
In recent years the advances with in-car tech have come to a point where you no longer have to buy a premium vehicle to get what were once considered ‘premium’ safety features.\u00a0 It started with air bags, but now we’re seeing advanced driver safety features in many more vehicles that can be bought at a lower price point.<\/p>\n
If you move up just a few thousand dollars from the MG3 Auto base model to the MG3 Essence<\/a>, you\u2019ll find yourself in a vehicle packed with all the smart and safety features found in much more expensive cars.<\/p>\n The 360 degree camera on the 10 inch infotainment screen makes parking safe and easy, but it\u2019s the MG Pilot active safety system that most will appreciate in everyday driving.\u00a0 Here I\u2019d have to give a special mention to Intelligent speed limit assist. It’s a very handy feature that makes it almost impossible to ‘accidentally’ speed.<\/p>\n
