This week in Sydney Tech Daily previewed some of the latest AI-Powered home appliances from Samsung at their “House of Samsung” media event,<\/span> featuring cutting-edge technology in its fridges and a powerful new cordless stick vacuum.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"The star of the fridge line up is the Bespoke AI Family Hub Plus<\/strong>, boasting an impressive 809-litre capacity and a massive 32-inch display (twice the size of previous models). This larger screen enhances usability and allows for displaying family photos and notes. It also acts as a control hub for other smart home devices such as lights and TVs.<\/span><\/p>\n

A standout feature is the AI Vision inside camera, which can identify food items placed inside and automatically set expiration dates. By then providing reminders for approaching expiry dates, food waste, which is a concern for many Australians can be avoided. Users can also check the contents of the fridge remotely via the SmartThings app on their mobile device.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you don’t need a 809-litre fridge there’s also the 615-litre AI Home side-by-side<\/strong> model with a 9-inch AI Home display. This screen provides an overview of recipes, temperature settings, water filter status, and even estimated energy usage. It also offers a 3D map of the entire home with device control.\u00a0 The AI Home side-by-side doesn’t have the AI Vision inside camera.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the cleaning front, Samsung presented the world’s most powerful cordless stick vacuum, the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra. Delivering 400W of suction power, it features an AI cleaning mode that detects five different floor types, including various carpets, and automatically adjusts suction power and brush speed. It also identifies corners, increasing suction for better cleaning. <\/span><\/p>\n

The unexpected feature in this\u00a0 vacuum is it’s ability to connect to a phone and notify you of messages and calls, pausing suction during conversations. An accompanying clean station empties the dustbin into a dust bag with HEPA filtration for cleaner air.<\/span><\/p>\n
