\"\"If you own a smart security camera, you are likely familiar with this scenario, the constant buzzing of your phone\u2014alerting you to everything from a swaying tree to a passing cat.<\/span><\/p>\n

This “notification fatigue,” often leads people to switch their alerts off entirely.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, Swann is tackling this with a new feature called \u201cNotify Me When<\/a>.\u201d Instead of pinging you for every movement, the app lets you type in exactly what you want to see\u2014like \u201cnotify me if a courier drops a package\u201d or \u201cif the dog enters the backyard.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Using advanced AI, the system analyzes the video and only alerts you when it matches your specific request. Early tests show this cuts false alarms by sixty-five percent, ensuring you only check your phone when it actually matters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note that this new feature from Swann does rely on a subscription for access.<\/span><\/p>\n
