3D Printers are now more accessible in terms of price and usability…but do you need one and what would you do with it?
With the ability to create just about any object you can think of in 3D form the uses for a 3D printer are only really limited by your imagination.
You could create your own chess pieces, dog tags, coffee cups, replica of your own hand…possibly not things that are essential to your life but for anyone with a creative mind it does open up a door to a new way to turn an idea into an object.
The price for a 3D printer starts at around 699 dollars plus materials. I recently visited the Harvey Norman store at Knox in Victoria where the franchisee gave me a demonstration of how it all works. I can see why he was so excited about having these in his store! Watch below.
