Videos that automatically play as you scroll through your Facebook news feed…it’s a pet hate of many Facebook users but you can switch it off.
For Mac and PC users on the Facebook website simply click on the down arrow next to the padlock icon at the top right of the screen…select settings then videos and you’ll see the option to change autoplay to OFF as the default setting.
For Android and iOS devices the process is also the same but if you don’t see the video option in settings you will simply need to get the latest version of the facebook app for your device.
