Most mobile data plans can be quite generous but that shouldn’t mean you simply let your data allowance slip away un-noticed. Well the latest Apple update allows iPhones and iPads to do just that and you’ll need to change a setting to fix it.
In iOS 9 when your device is connected via Wi-Fi and the signal is weak, the default setting called ‘wi-fi assist’ will automatically use your mobile data connection…which if left unchecked could drain your monthly data allowance.
This annoying setting is easily fixed within your device settings menu. See the video below.
