Are you ready for Australia Day? Twitter is.
Last week Twitter unveiled a new Australian Day emoji and no surprises that it’s a koala wearing green and gold sunglasses.
To include the new emoji in your Australia Day tweets simply use the hashtag #AustraliaDay and the image of the very Aussie koala in shades will automatically appear in your message.
The National Museum of Australian and Twitter are also collecting twitter messages and photos for a live digital exhibition on Australian day as part of the Australia Day Your Way Project. The exhibition can also be viewed online at www.your.australiaday.org.au.
