Have you ever noticed that when some people send you an email the message ends with a random letter ‘J’?
The good news is that it isn’t a typo…it’s supposed to be a smiley face emoticon, but thanks to a lingering bug in Microsoft’s outlook software the
normal sequence of characters used to make a smiley face 😉 is converted to a single letter ‘J’.
It turns out this bug is limited to Microsoft Outlook on non-windows system…so if you get that ‘J’ on the end of an email, chances are the sender is using a Mac.
